Mr. Bruce Rathie
Independent Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Mr Rathie is an experienced Company Director having completed successful prior careers in law and investment banking. He practised as a partner in a large legal firm and acted as Senior Corporate Counsel to Bell Resources Limited in the early to mid-1980s. He studied for his MBA in Geneva and embarked on his investment banking career on his return to Sydney. Mr Rathie was Head of the Industrial Franchise Group at Salomon Smith Barney in the late 1990s and led Salomon’s roles in the Federal Government’s privatisations of Qantas, Commonwealth Bank and Telstra. He has over 20 years’ experience as a professional Non Executive Company Director and is currently Chair of 4DMedical Limited (ASX:4DX) and Non-Executive Director of Cettire Limited (ASX:CTT) and PolyNovo Limited (ASX:PNV). In the medical device space, Mr Rathie was previously Chairman of Anteo Diagnostics Limited and a Director of Compumedics Limited and USCOM Limited. Mr Rathie joined the Board in October 2021.
Mr. Dan Kao
Executive Director and Director of Operations
Mr Kao, a former senior designer for ResMed Inc (Australia) (ASX:RMD), founded the business of CleanSpace in 2009 and has been a director of CleanSpace since April 2011. Mr Kao worked in the medical and healthcare industry for over 20 years, and has extensive experience in manufacturing, supply chain optimisation, quality management systems and in securing patents for innovative technologies in healthcare. Mr Kao is a previous winner of the Australian Design Award and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Master of Biomedical Engineering.
Ms Lisa Hennessy
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms Hennessy joined CleanSpace as a Non-Executive Director in December 2021.
North American born and educated, Ms Hennessy brings significant enterprise sales experience in the medical device and hospital fields, from her time with global medical technology company GE Healthcare (NYSE). In addition, Ms Hennessy has acquisition and growth strategy experience, both with Bain London and NASDAQ-listed Del Monte Foods and GE Capital (NYSE). Ms Hennessy has worked with high growth businesses in Silicon Valley and brings a valuable insight from the world’s most dynamic and successful technology market.
Ms Hennessy’s Non-Executive Board experience includes listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. She is currently serving Non-executive Director of Adore Beauty (ABY.AX), CleanSpace Technology (CSX.AX), Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery and previously served as the Lead Independent Director with ASX listed Nitro Software (Acquired) and was previously a Non-Executive Director with Murray River Organics (ASX: MRG).
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) from Purdue University, an MBA from Harvard University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Paul Cassano
Independent Non-Executive Director
Paul Cassano is an executive with over 30 years industry experience in general management, operations management and technical roles in the mining and resources sectors with Downer, Thiess and BHP. Paul’s wide experience includes 13 years at Downer where he was most recently CEO Mining, 14 years at BHP in leadership and technical roles and as EGM, Resources and Development Group at Thiess.
Paul currently provides independent management consulting services as MD of Resilient Resources Pty Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Graham McLean
CEO and Executive Director
Mr McLean brings deep medical device and healthcare experience from his 16-years at NYSE-listed Stryker, a global medical technology company with a range of products and services, including healthcare PPE, sold via distributors and direct sales. At Stryker, Mr McLean held several senior positions, including President, Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for transforming the region, including restructuring the company’s China distribution to accelerate growth, resulting in Asia Pacific becoming a fast growing, multi-billion-dollar sales region.
Prior to Stryker, Mr McLean held senior finance and operational roles in Asia and Europe, including international consumer brands Lion Nathan, Smiths Snackfoods (Pepsi), McVities (United Biscuits), United Distillers (Guinness) and Unilever.
Mr McLean holds a Bachelor of Science Geography from Durham University, is a CPA, a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is currently an advisor to Bain & Company and GLG, and a board member of Suicide Prevention Australia, Fisher and Paykel Healthcare ltd and Universal Biosensors International inc.
Graham was appointed CEO in January 2023.
Ms. Bree Greeff
Chief Financial Officer
Ms Bree Greeff joined CleanSpace in May 2022 and was promoted to CFO in March, 2024. Ms Greeff has previously held finance management roles with Publicis (a French multinational advertising and public relations company) for 6 years, J Melnick & Co (a marketer and distributor of premium brands) for 5 years, as well as transport and mining companies, all in South Africa. She holds a B Compt degree in Accounting & Auditing and is a candidate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Mr. Alex Virr
Chief Technology Officer
Mr Virr joined CleanSpace in 2010 and has extensive experience in medical device and manufacturing, motor design, flow control systems and highly regulated quality management systems. He has previously worked at Telectronics and ResMed. Mr Virr holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons).
